Starting out in the voiceover
Starting out in the voiceover business, I set up a home studio and snagged a 1982 U87i from Vintage King. Over time, I’ve gone through countless mics, always searching for that perfect sound. It took me years to realize that in voiceover, you need something that captures your voice naturally. I missed the magic of my old Neumann 87i, but finding one now is like searching for a unicorn, and the cost is sky-high. I tried several "vintage 87" replicas, but none felt right until I plugged into the Dachman 87i. It was like reuniting with an old friend. This mic has that rich, classic Neumann vibe but with a smoother edge. It handles EQ wonderfully too. Props to Dachman for offering such quality at a great price!
