    Don't do it!

    DON'T DO IT! We used Caddy once in June and they cancelled on us THE SAME DAY as our scheduled move. One mover, Trey, showed up and worked like a dozen men to help us out. We opted to try them again, thinking that was a fluke. BIG, HUGE, ENORMOUS MISTAKE!!!!!! I booked the appointment two weeks ahead, called THREE TIMES, including at lunch on the day of the move to verify everything was still a go, AND 3-1/2 HOURS AFTER they were supposed to be there, THEY CANCELLED. We drove hours from out of state, and told them we had to be unloaded that day due to the truck rental and their response was to tell us the appointment before us ran over so they were skipping us, and going to the appointment after us so they could make it there on time and we would have to wait until the next day. AND I have the phone call recorded as proof. That's the kind of business you run? Someone confirms an appointment at a specific time on a specific date, and you tell them to just wait until the next day? And this is 3-1/2 hours AFTER you're supposed to be here? DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE LOSERS!!!!

    NO SHOW

    Well after reading all the reviews I figured it couldn't be that bad. Well I was wrong. The only reason I gave 1 star was because the saleswoman Genie was helpful. So I read about the no show reviews and picked up the phone amd called. Genie was very nice and when I expressed my concerns with the no shows she assured me it was because of the time period it was booked. IE: same day or next day. I scheduled a week in advance and Genie assured me no problem. Guaranteed. Well fast forward 1 week. Morning of move I get a call from dispatch that they can't get anybody to show. Really? Are you kidding. So after yelling and screaming the woman calls me back and says they can get 1 guy around 430pm. Mind you they were scheduled to arrive at 10am. And they really only had to move 4pcs. The rest of POD was boxes and bags. I said how is 1 guy going to carry a couch and dressers. She said will there be anyone else to help? No kidding. Needless to say I made some calls and got help. And told her to stick it. So no they are not worth the aggrevation.

    If I could give this company a zero I would. Everything was a mess with this move. First, the movers forgot half of my things and wasted a lot of time on stuff that didn’t need to be taken apart. That cost me 400 for nothing. Then, they scheduled more help but only sent one person, who just left everything outside. They don’t pay their workers enough, so they get angry when they’re on the job making so little. They caused me a lot of stress and cost me money. Plus, my furniture got damaged. There are broken doors on some pieces and marks everywhere. They refused to refund me and said there was nothing more they could do. This business deserves all the bad luck for how they treat customers. This is not how you run a business, and I will never hire them again. I ended up moving my own things after paying them. That’s just silly. I will be taking legal action against this company for all the damage they have done to me. It’s sad because all I wanted was my money back, and they can’t even manage that. Shameful.

    I had a pretty rough

    I had a pretty rough experience with Caddy Moving recently. I hired two movers for three hours to help with my one-bedroom apartment move. From the get-go, one mover complained about feeling unwell and barely did anything. He even messed up taking apart my bed, stripping the screws and making it a pain to reassemble later. The other mover was hardworking, but he was left doing a two-man job alone, slowing down the whole process. To make matters worse, customer service sent the sick mover to my new place after sending the helpful one home. Unpacking, which should’ve taken an hour, ended up taking two. Plus, they wanted me to guess the hours worked, which was just ridiculous. They even tried to charge me for the mover who did nothing. I refused to pay for him and had to argue to get him taken off the bill. Overall, the lack of accountability and poor communication made this move a nightmare. I definitely recommend looking for another moving company.

    STAY AWAY FROM CADDY MOVING

    So, so bad. I hired them 4 days in advance to move some shelves I bought via an online auction with only a 2 hour removal window. I spoke directly with EJ & told him what I needed — 2 guys for an hour or two. Over the next four days I received numerous confirmation emails from them. The morning of the move, about 4-5 hours before we were to meet, I called again to confirm. Yep, no problem, see you at 2pm. Then, at 1:45pm, 15 minutes before they were to arrive, I got a text that then couldn’t find anyone to work the job so no one was coming to help — too bad, so sad, best of luck to me. They really left me in a jam & couldn’t have cared less. I wouldn’t hire Caddy to clean up trash on the side of the road, I certainly would not hire them for any kind of move, of anything that requires them to actually show up & do work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone, ever. Just STEER CLEAR OF CADDY & LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR RELIABLE MOVERS.

    This was a nightmare. I scheduled my move for 1pm, but the company asked to delay it until 3pm just 20 minutes before. Fine, I thought, two hours isn’t a big deal. But at 2:58pm, they couldn't find one of the movers and kept me waiting. I had rented a U-Haul and needed to leave town for the holidays. Finally, at 5:45, a guy named Kelcey showed up and damaged my stuff. When I confronted him, he got aggressive, blaming me for not labeling things. Loading my one-bedroom apartment took 2.5 hours, plus another mover’s car battery died, adding more delays. By the time we reached my new place, Kelcey refused to finish the job and argued with me. They promised movers at 8am the next day, but they didn’t show until 11am. Two competent movers finally got it done in 36 minutes. Now, the company is billing me for the “work,” despite my $500 in damaged goods and extra U-Haul day. No resolution from them, just a bill. Replace my items.

    I can't believe how shady

    I can't believe how shady this company is! I thought I'd get some easy gigs while job hunting, but wow, was I wrong. Worked for them a week ago, and they still owe me $50. Doesn’t matter if it's $50 or $200, you gotta pay people for their work. They bombard you with calls on the day of the job, making sure everything's done, and the customer pays. But when it’s time to pay you? Crickets. Just a bunch of automated responses like, “Your payment is in the queue.” Yeah, it’s been in the queue for over a week! Trying to reach a real person is a joke. Emails, texts, all you get is copy-paste replies. It feels like their “finance team” is just someone’s girlfriend sitting around collecting money. And their website? Always shows “pending.” Super illegal and fishy. I’m convinced they’re just ripping off both customers and workers. Avoid them at all costs!

    Do not hire this company

    They have no movers - they just try and hire locals in that area when someone hires their company. Horrible concept which leads them to confirm an unload of a truck for a month and then cancel the day before! Then they claim it was an error on their part to have taken the job if the first place. That is not helpful when you have a moving truck to unload the next morning! When I asked for compensation since I knew it would be expensive and time consuming to scramble and get last minute help - I was literally ignored! Once I wrote honest reviews of the “company” Caddy Movers - they offered me $100 “to make it right and have me remove the review”. Not ethical. In reading the reviews here - I have serious suspicions about the “glowing reviews” on this web site. Do TONS of research before trusting your move to Caddy Moving.

    Avoid this company at all costs

    Working with this company was a nightmare. I took on a moving gig with them, expecting to get paid within three days as promised. It's been over a week now, and I’m still waiting for my payment. Tried reaching out multiple times through texts and calls, but no response at all. The communication was terrible from the start. On the morning of the job, I got a really early text from the dispatcher, who barely spoke English, asking me to confirm my attendance, even though I already had. Then, an hour before the job, she blew up my phone, demanding another confirmation. It was all so chaotic. After completing the move with my partner, it was radio silence from their end. And now, they’re trying to use my review as leverage to get out of paying me. Avoid this company at all costs.

    I hired two movers to help with loading my 275lb glass kiln. I provided all details upfront, so there shouldn't have been any surprises. On moving day, one mover didn’t show up and the other arrived an hour late. Despite my requests to wait for the second mover, the first guy insisted on doing it alone. He loaded my kiln upside down, breaking the kiln shelf, and even asked me to help. Then he demanded a tip and later confronted me about it not being enough, which was incredibly stressful. Customer service was no help at all. They offered me just $50 for my $3,500 kiln that got damaged. Their claims about fair reimbursement are completely misleading. I would never hire this company again and advise others to be cautious about their so-called insurance.

    Unprofessional and unreliable

    Wow, where do I start? Caddy Moving was a nightmare! I needed movers on 2/7/25 and 2/8/25, and their website made them look so professional. But the guys who showed up? Nothing like that. They smelled like weed and alcohol, and they barely worked, just talked a lot. But the real disaster was on 2/8/25. They were 40 minutes late, and one guy was super aggressive, even tried to fight me! He seemed drunk, dropped my sofa twice, scratched my floors and furniture, and damaged my dining table. I called Caddy Moving right away, and all I got was a measly $13 discount and $20 for damages, when they ruined over $2000 worth of stuff. Seriously, don’t waste your time or money on them. They’re totally unprofessional and unreliable. Find someone else!

    I had the most frustrating experience with this moving company! They totally disappeared after telling their workers my time was up and to leave. I thought the price dropped after two hours, but nope. No follow-up or anything. They promised professionals, including a "captain," but the two people who showed up said it was their first time. They ended up breaking a bunch of my stuff! The dispatcher, maybe named Melissa, told the workers I said they were done, but she texted me saying they claimed the job was finished. Neither of us had actually talked to her during the move. Plus, she demanded payment 30 minutes before they were done and started my time before they even arrived. Absolutely the worst service ever! 0/10, never recommending!

    I had an awful experience with this company. Worked for a couple of customers, and it was a nightmare. Not only did they not say anything good about the work, but I also didn't get paid for my efforts. I spent 4 hours working hard, unloading a storage unit and loading it into a container, then repeating the process from a garage. Including the drive, it took about 5 hours, with an hour each way. The total pay with tips ended up being $100, which is just not worth the hard work. Jonah in dispatch was no help at all, just ignoring our messages about not getting paid. They kept saying it would take 1-4 days, but that time has long passed. Feels like a scam, wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, whether a worker or a customer.

    I had to move some furniture into a POD and hired Caddy Moving, thinking they'd make it easier. Paid for two movers, but only one showed up on time, so I had to pitch in. The second guy arrived 1.5 hours late, and it was just a 2-hour job! Against my better judgment, I hired them again to help unload. Same story: only one mover showed up, and I had to help again. To make matters worse, we found a lot of damaged furniture from the first move. When I contacted them, they just offered a discount, but my invoice still showed 2 hours billed when it was just an hour. No discount for the damage either. Caddy Movers are not reliable or professional, though the last mover was a nice guy and tried his best. Never using them again.

    Man, working for this company has been a nightmare. They never pay on time—sometimes it's just a day or two late, but it can stretch up to two weeks! Seriously, what's the point of being a captain if I'm treated worse than the regular workers? There's no clear job descriptions either. I have to walk into chaos and somehow make it work because all they care about is their money. Other workers keep asking me when they’ll get paid, and honestly, I have no idea. There's no trust, just a bunch of empty promises and excuses. Dispatchers don't know what they're doing, and communication is terrible. Customers have no clue, or they pretend not to. I can't deal with this anymore until they pay up. This is just messed up.

    This company is a complete ripoff. Don’t hire them for moving, they charge way too much and don’t pay their workers. I worked a full week ago and still no paycheck. I email, text, and call with no reply, can’t even leave a voicemail. They are a total scam and now I have to file a mechanic’s lien for services not paid. Just 38 dollars but it forces them to send a lawyer or rep to court to answer to a judge. It’s really simple and clear. They hope people don’t check bad business behavior. I run a business and have a degree, so I’ll make sure this is seen through. Some think having an LLC means they can do anything, but that’s not true. I will make them pay workers for their labor, not just pay themselves.

    I scheduled two movers for noon, with a 2-hour slot at $121. The worker mentioned I'd pay after the job via PayPal, which felt off. On the move day, I got a message saying, "Our movers are still tied up with a previous job and are running late. Can we shift your move to 3 PM?" I said yes, but at 2:47, another text came saying the movers were STILL not available and needed to be rescheduled for the next day. By then, I'd already rented my U-Haul expecting the movers by 3 PM. I had to call four times to finally get an employee who assured they'd come the next day. The entire process felt shady and the customer service was poor. I got the impression this company might be trying to scam me.

    You won't believe what happened during my recent move. I had everything packed up and ready, just waiting for the moving company to show up. They were supposed to arrive early, but an hour before the scheduled time, they called to say they'd be 45 minutes late. No biggie, I thought, these things happen. But then, two hours later, another call—turns out they needed more time on another job and had to reschedule for the next day. Frustrating, right? Well, it gets worse. The next day rolls around, and just two hours before they were supposed to arrive, they called to cancel again. Seriously? It was a nightmare trying to plan anything with such unreliable service. Not impressed at all.

    So, my husband saw this Craigslist ad and decided to give it a shot. He arrived at the job site around 10am, thinking it’d be a straightforward gig with quick cash app payment. They mentioned a 2-hour minimum and same-day pay, which sounded fair enough. But then things started to get fishy. One of the workers there was owed $300 from previous days and hadn’t been paid yet. They kept dodging him and now my husband too, with excuses about cash app, Venmo, PayPal, and even asking for social security details. This was supposed to be simple, but it’s turning into a mess. We’re getting advice from my uncle, a lawyer, and digging into this further. Not cool, “Caddy Go.”

    Let me tell you about my recent move with Move Caddy. My dad's in the military, so we didn't get to pick the moving company. Move Caddy’s packing crew was actually pretty great—they took care of our stuff, wrapping and packing everything really well. But here's the kicker: they didn’t give us any inventory list, or if they did, we didn’t see it. Then, they just didn’t show up the next day. And the day after that. And the day after that! It was super frustrating. The main issue was the lack of communication between Move Caddy and the military moving program. If they want better reviews, they should hire reliable workers who actually show up and do their job.

    It was just chaos

    Man, let me tell you about my experience with this company. It was just chaos. They canceled on me twice in two days, and the second time was just a couple of hours before the job. The job listing was still up even after they canceled it. On top of that, they paid me super late. It’s like they only care about keeping tabs on you when you’re on the job but once you’re done, they ghost you. I’m convinced they're just not invested in their workers. You gotta push and push just to get your paycheck. If you’re thinking about moving, do yourself a favor and hire real professionals. This company just doesn’t cut it. I'm done with them. Just a heads-up, folks!

    I’m beyond disappointed with this

    I’m beyond disappointed with this company. Their website boasts a 4.5-star rating, but in reality, it's a mere 2. They claim their staff is trained, but they just picked random people from Craigslist! These guys damaged my new massage chair and the company is taking no responsibility at all. One of the workers even left after causing the damage, leaving the chair at the bottom of my stairs. The so-called CEO called me but was useless in resolving anything, offering the worst customer service imaginable. It's not worth the energy to detail everything. They do nothing to fix their mistakes or compensate for the damage. Avoid them at all costs.

    I can't believe how frustrating

    I can't believe how frustrating my experience with this moving company was. Drove all the way from Chicago to Indiana for a job and they totally ripped me off. After almost three weeks of waiting, they only paid half of what they owed me. Imagine working and not getting paid properly! They say they'll pay the rest after they get paid, but it's like they're holding us workers hostage. This company operates nationwide but can't even pay their own workers. So disappointing! I've reported them to the Illinois Department of Labor, hoping they'll sort this mess out. Seriously, find a better, more responsible moving company. Don't hire these guys!

    I thought I was working with a local business, but then a call center from somewhere far away contacted me. We arranged a potential move date and went over all the details. I told them I’d check their reviews online since I wasn’t familiar with them. The reviews from both customers and employees were pretty bad. They said they’d send a confirmation email, but I never got it. Ten days later, I called to cancel the move, and they hung up on me! When I called back, they tried to offer me a 20% discount.     Working with Caddy was a complete nightmare. They hired random folks from Craigslist without any background checks, just to get jobs done. Once the work was completed, they disappeared, ignoring calls and playing games over text about payment. They promised same-day pay, but it was all lies. It felt like they were just stringing us along. It's frustrating because I wasn't the only one; two other guys are also taking legal action. We have all the evidence—unpaid invoices, texts, you name it. If you're considering working with them, think twice. It’s not worth the hassle and deceit. Stay away from Caddy if you value your time and effort.

    I had quite the experience with Caddy Moving. The mover they sent was aggressive, even went as far as to chase my son with his car. He kept complaining about his pay, which was really uncomfortable. To top it off, he forgot to unload some of our stuff and left it on the sidewalk. We didn’t even know until five days later when we realized some things were missing. Caddy Moving did acknowledge their guy messed up, but they said they can't do anything about the missing items. If you're thinking about hiring movers, maybe look somewhere else. It seems like they just pick random workers from Craigslist. It's just not worth the hassle.

    So, I got this gig on a Saturday with another mover, right? We were already short on hands for what we had to load into the U-Haul. It was supposed to be a 4-hour job, but surprise, it stretched to 7 hours 'cause we were understaffed. After busting our backs, we were told we’d get $168, same-day payment. Night rolls in, and suddenly, the pay date is pushed back. I've tried reaching out so many times, but it’s just radio silence from them. Honestly, this feels like a total scam. They haven't paid up, and it’s been a nightmare trying to get any updates. Seriously, steer clear of this company if you value your time and effort.

    Definitely not reliable

    Booked this company expecting a smooth experience, but what a disappointment! It was supposed to be a two-person job, but only one guy showed up. The other guy just drove past our house and vanished! Felt so bad for the young man who ended up doing everything alone. Tried reaching Jonah at their office, but no response. The worker who did show up was hardworking, but the company’s lack of communication was frustrating. Trust was broken, and I won't be using them again. If you're considering them, think twice! They might leave you in the lurch. Definitely not reliable, and it feels like they don’t value their customers.
