AMVS Online.com

Small but solid moment

Submitting a form, I hesitated, then the green success bar popped up and a tidy PDF receipt downloaded. Relief, then a quick screenshot.

DECEPTIVE

i logged into their website using my search engine in error, thinking I had my motor vehicle department to renew my registration. I subsequently realized I had the wrong website and was being charged for their services. I called immediately and cancelled but they still charged me $.50 and now they have my information.

Quality felt solid throughout. I felt confident uploading docs and reassured by the clear confirmations. Pages loaded quickly and everything behaved predictably, which eased my nerves.

Complete scam posing as Nevada DMV online services

Posing as Nevada DMV online services. Fill in your car info as you would with the DMV, Put in your card # and at no time does it say you will be charged $10.95 a month for fraudulent crap you did ask for until you hit enter. You then think what the hell is this and it still doesnt say you have been charged $10.95. I had to look at my bank account to find that out.

Bad company

Trying to renew my plates and ended up on their site. Very deceitful way to steal your money. Sent a text to their customer service folks and they tell me they are not doing anything wrong. No better that scammers.

Really good and very nice.

Really good and very nice. All works right at the press of a button. Simple to handle and no hassel at all. Keep going.

this site is a scam!

When registering my vehicle online at Oregon DMV, i was very careful with the info and did NOT sign up for anything except paying the reg fee, yet a few days later i received a text alert from my CC: “Fraud Alert” asking me if a $10.95 from amvsonline was a valid charge-I texted back NO. I looked up this company and saw the other complaints here. my card was cancelled immediately. I also noticed on my CC statement there was a charge from this company earlier. it was a fee for a FRGN Trans Fee, so this company doing the charging is not even in the United States, even tho they claim their headquarters are in San Francisco. Beware!

SCAM

This site came up on my google search for renewing my car registration. I clicked on it thinking NC may have changed the way they renewed their online collection. THEY HAD ALL MY INFORMATION. I filled out everything and hit pay. My credit card was declined. Within a minute I got an alert from my credit card company and a phone call from them. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!!! I was able to go to the correct **** and register , but having to get a new Credit Card and change all my online payment accounts is going to be a pain. SCAM SCAM!!! This company needs to be shut down!!!.

Not clear what site this is.

Not clear what site this is. How can I tell if this is a legit DMV site? Don’t like being unsure about it. Feels risky not knowing if it’s really authorized or not.

When I saw a $10+ fee on my credit card

When I saw a $10+ fee on my credit card, my bank sent me a fraud alert. Also, the payment for the item I wanted didn’t process correctly.

This experience was fine at first and everything seemed okay, but then it reached a hard point. After that, it turned into a bother and made things less enjoyable.
