    Back in January, I joined

    Back in January, I joined three online sessions and got hit with a $10 fee. Then, a month later, another $25 popped up, bringing my total to $75. Fast forward to September 2025, and out of nowhere, Headway tells me they're charging my card another $75 for sessions from late 2024 and early 2025. Apparently, they messed up the claims process. Honestly, it's not right that I'm paying for their mistakes. The office needs to get their act together. While the counselor was fantastic and I'd totally follow her if she moved elsewhere, I’m done with Headway. They need to fix their billing issues before I even think about coming back.

    You wouldn't believe the nightmare I went through with this insurance company. Everything seemed fine at first—they approved my insurance multiple times. But then, out of the blue, they just rejected it without any explanation. I tried calling them so many times, hoping to sort things out, but it was like talking to a wall. There was one instance where they even had my insurer on the call with me, and still, no resolution. It's like nobody there knows what they're doing. The customer service is practically nonexistent. If you value your sanity, steer clear of this company. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration.

    I recently tried using this platform and it was a mess. The providers themselves were fine, but the customer service was terrible. You can’t even call them, everything's done through tickets. They completely messed up my insurance details. They kept saying my secondary insurance was my only one, even though I confirmed multiple times it wasn't. It took over a month to fix, and they charged me extra for past sessions. Their customer service felt like talking to robots, just scripted answers. I wouldn't recommend this platform to anyone.     Been using Headway for a bit now, about 6 weeks. But guess what? None of my sessions are covered by my insurance yet. I should have hit my out-of-pocket max ages ago, but nope, still paying. Reached out to customer service a couple of weeks ago. They said, "give us two days." Two days later, I ask for an update, and they need another two days. This keeps happening, and they finally say my provider isn't "credentialed" with my insurance. Talked to my insurance, and they said that's not true. Headway asked for more time, but it's been two weeks now, and nothing's fixed. So frustrating!

    I had a similar frustrating experience with this company. I texted to cancel my appointment because of a work conflict, using the same number they used to confirm it. But they still hit me with a $100 cancellation fee. When I showed them the screenshot of my text, they just kept arguing about the charge. In the end, I decided to cancel my membership. They clearly don't care about their customers, and there are many other places to book therapy appointments without this hassle. Definitely not recommending them to anyone.
