The video is not accurate. Helping a friend with an iPhone X that was Activation Locked, I found a video on YouTube (www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg623p4GpOA) recommending unlockhere.com. I visited the site and followed the steps. The email I got did *NOT* include a code, but a link to another site asking for a credit card to set up an account. My antivirus scanner warned that it was a phishing site. I did not continue. Later, I read these reviews and was happy to stop trying. Be careful of any site that asks for payment information.

Unlockhere is a scam and fails to deliver on its promises. I ended up being redirected to primeplay for a membership. When I tried to contact them at h****@unlockhere.com, the email bounced back as unknown. They claim, "Please contact us here at h****@unlockhere.com, we will assist you," but how can they help when the email doesn't work? Give me a code to my email for all this trouble and show me I'm wrong.

I answered all the questions about the locked phone (IMEI, etc.) and paid £1 with my bank card. I never got a response or a membership code. I tried again the next day, repeating the same details and £1 payment. STILL NO MEMBERSHIP CODE. This company seems to be a SCAM !!!!

This company is a rip-off and will bill you quickly. Avoid them. If you've put in your card info, block your card right away before they hit you with a charge of 50 euro/dollars.
