    I've flown with Frontier twice

    I've flown with Frontier twice now, and it's been a nightmare both times. This last trip from Florida to Denver through Las Vegas was the final straw. They claimed I hadn't paid for round-trip checked luggage, even though I had. Ended up shelling out an extra $180 just for my bags. The seats? Absolute torture. Thin padding, barely any legroom, and they don't even recline. Plus, no charging ports or in-flight entertainment at all. I've been on better flights in developing countries. It's 2025, and somehow Frontier is still this bad. I can't believe they get away with it. Never flying with them again.

    I had a real rough time with this airline. My flight from LAX to Atlanta got delayed by two hours, causing me to miss my connecting flight. When I arrived in Atlanta, there was no one around to help, even though the flight attendant said someone would be there. No emails, no texts, just radio silence. Felt like I was stranded in a foreign place, trying to make sense of everything on my own. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service, but they weren't much help. Ended up switching to Delta to sort things out. Cheap ticket, cheap experience. Wouldn't want to go through that mess again.

    Flying with Frontier was such a hassle. I went from Colorado to Arkansas just fine, but coming back, they suddenly decided my personal item wasn’t small enough and charged me an extra $99. The seats are not worth the money either, super uncomfortable. And then there’s the staff—always someone rude when you’re checking in or scanning your boarding pass. It’s like they go out of their way to be unhelpful. Honestly, for the amount you end up paying with all the hidden fees, you’d expect at least a bit of comfort and decent service. Will definitely think twice before booking with them again.

    I had a reservation and needed to add checked bags, but ended up getting charged for overweight bags too because their app was confusing. I couldn't see the details in the cart clearly. Tried using their website but it didn't work, so I was stuck using the app. Contacted customer care, who kept saying it was refundable. Later, they confirmed it was a technical glitch but refused to refund me, citing their policy. So frustrating! It feels like they just don't care about customers. Now I'm out extra money for something that wasn't my fault. Definitely not using their service again.

    I was at the airport, feeling a bit anxious because the line was long—39 people deep, to be exact. Just as I was getting close to the counter, the airline staff suddenly shut the doors. I couldn't believe it! No warning, no explanation, nothing. It seemed like they wanted us to miss the flight just so we'd have to buy new tickets. The whole experience felt so unfair and left me feeling frustrated. I wouldn't recommend dealing with them unless you want to risk getting stranded. It's a shame, really, because air travel is stressful enough without this kind of nonsense.

    I had a very bad time trying to check into Miami airport for my flight to Philadelphia. I got there two hours before my flight, but the agent at the counter told me I had to check in using the app and refused to help me in person. The WiFi at the counter was terrible, so I couldn't connect. The staff was not helpful at all and said it wasn’t their problem. I missed my flight and had to book with another airline. My friend's birthday plans were ruined. I didn’t get to Philly until 12 hours later. I was so upset and angry. I would not recommend this airline to anyone.

    This airline is a disaster.

    This airline is a disaster. We spent 3 hours just to check-in at Boston. Bought tickets to Santo Domingo with a stop in Orlando and even paid for our dog to fly with us in the cabin. When we got to Orlando, they suddenly said dogs aren't allowed, even though we had paid and it was on our boarding pass. Now we're stranded in Orlando looking for another flight. They won't give us a refund because it's "on their website." Lost an entire day of our vacation, and they couldn't care less. Manager was rude and customer service was no help at all. This airline is terrible.

    I've been flying with this airline for a decade, but it’s been a bumpy ride. Delays and cancellations have become the norm, with no real solutions in sight. Just the other day, my 7am flight was pushed to 11am, and then, surprise! At 5:19am, they said it was back on time. I missed it, of course. Got a refund, but then had to fork out more cash for a last-minute booking with another airline. The savings I thought I was getting with this airline? Gone, and then some. Frustrating experience, to say the least. I think it's time to look elsewhere for my travel needs.

    I had a pretty rough experience with Frontier recently. Their kiosk was down, so I couldn't use it to pay the lower baggage fee. The agent at the baggage area informed me that I had literally one minute to complete the online payment for the reduced charge. I tried, but the time limit was just too short. In the end, I had to use the agent's service and got hit with double the fee. Given that their kiosk was out of order and the online option was impossible within such a short time, they should have waived the extra charge for using the agent. Not cool at all.

    Booked three round-trip tickets from Phoenix to Houston for my son, grandson, and daughter-in-law, expecting a smooth, nonstop journey. Then, out of nowhere, an email arrives saying the flights have been changed. Now, they’ve got layovers over 4 hours long—originally it was 8 hours! Had to argue to get that down. Also, baggage fees were insane, $169 for one bag just slightly over 50 lbs. And then they tried to charge an extra $52 just so the kids could sit together. Frontier’s customer service was a nightmare. Never flying with them again, that's for sure.

    Man, this place is a disaster. Every detail as bad as you've heard. The service? Horrible. Not a single ounce of respect or responsibility. They mess up all the time – delays, cancellations, you name it – and then act like it’s not their fault. It's wild how they’re so focused on squeezing every penny out of you in the shadiest ways. Seriously, look up what the CEO thinks is important. No need for conspiracy theories or different interpretations, just read what he says about customers like us. It’s clear they don't care about us at all. Never going back.

    Just had a terrible experience with this airline. My wife and mom were at the gate with our two kids, and this lady, Areesha, was so rude to them. It felt like she was trying to charge extra fees just to pocket the cash. The whole situation was handled so poorly, and it was clear they didn’t care about customer service at all. My family felt disrespected and stressed out. Seriously, avoid this airline if you can. It's not worth the hassle and the staff are just awful. Can't believe how racist and unprofessional they were. Never flying with them again.

    I had the worst experience with this airline. They didn't bother to inform us about the huge delays. We were stuck for 4 hours and then another 2 hours on the plane before they canceled the flight at midnight. Trying to find another flight at that hour was impossible, which made me miss a crucial event in my life. Adding insult to injury, I lost $3,000 on hotel and rental car bookings. The way they treat passengers is just unacceptable. It's like they don't care about the people at all. This airline should just go out of business. Absolutely horrible.

    I should have checked this place out before booking. They totally trick you when you're buying tickets. The process is super confusing, starting at $80 but then somehow ends up being $400. It's honestly shameful that an American company, licensed by the FAA, would scam people like this. Makes you wonder if they're cutting corners on their plane maintenance too. It's really disappointing and frustrating. Don't fall for it like I did! Take your time and read everything carefully if you decide to use them. Definitely won't be recommending them to anyone.

    I had a nightmare trying to check in for my flight from Miami to Philly. Got to the airport 2 hours early, but the check-in agent told me to use the app and refused to help in person. The WiFi was terrible near the desk, so I couldn’t even connect to check in. The staff were super unhelpful and basically shrugged it off. Ended up missing my flight and had to scramble to book with another airline. Totally ruined my friend’s birthday plans since I got to Philly 12 hours late. It was beyond frustrating. Definitely avoiding this airline in the future.

    We had a terrible experience in Cancun. My family and I, including our three kids, were refused boarding. They claimed to have called our names multiple times, but we never heard anything. When we tried to sort it out the next day, they slapped us with a $1500 penalty fee. It was incredibly frustrating. The guy in charge, Fernando, was extremely rude and unhelpful.     I tried canceling my Frontier membership, but boy, was it a hassle. Their website and app don't have any clear cancel button. Turns out, you have to go through live chat with an agent, which they don't even mention anywhere. Felt like they were making it as hard as possible to leave.     I had the worst experience with this airline. First, my flight got delayed by 4.5 hours and they didn't even give a proper reason why. Then, they finally made us board the plane, only for us to sit there for another hour before announcing another 3-hour delay. So basically, I was stuck waiting for 8.5 hours. No other flights were available, meaning we had no choice but to wait if we wanted to get to our destination. As compensation, they gave us a measly $15 food voucher. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and avoid booking with them.

    I was supposed to fly out, but my flight got delayed for three hours and then canceled late at night. The airline didn’t even cover a hotel stay. I had to scramble to find a place to sleep. To make it worse, the next available flight was two days later. I couldn’t wait that long, so I booked another ticket with a different airline for the next morning. Coming back home was no better. My flight got delayed again, and I had no idea when I’d actually get back. The whole experience was frustrating, and I felt like they didn’t care at all

    I checked my backpack's size against the airline's guidelines before my trip, thinking it would be fine as a personal item. But when boarding, they hit me with a $99 fee, saying it was too big. The backpack was just a regular one and easily fit under the seat. The staff weren't nice about it either, super rude actually.     You won't believe what happened to me last May. I was on a Frontier flight from DFW to LAX, and we just sat on the tarmac for 45 minutes, no updates or anything. Finally, they said the flight was overbooked and wouldn't take off until sorted. I decided to give up my seat, but only if I got a full refund. Nine months later, still nothing. I've been back and forth with my bank and Frontier, but no luck. It's been a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend flying with Frontier; they don't seem to care about their customers at all.

    I've been flying for over 40 years and never had an experience like I did at the Punta Cana Airport. My connected flight had no buffer for delays, so when I arrived a bit late, I was stuck. The agent told me they close the counter an hour before the flight, no exceptions. With customs and passport control, making it in time was impossible. If this is how they handle things, I really think you should look for a different airline. They just don't seem to care about their passengers at all. Avoid if you can.
