Alejandra showed great kindness

Alejandra showed great kindness and patience during my experience. However, my overall impression of Adapthealth wasn't great. It felt like a large company with long wait times on the phone. Alejandra made adjustments to the class to suit our needs, which was appreciated. She engaged with us rather than just giving a lecture. She took extra time to assist someone who had difficulty hearing and repeated herself in Spanish for another attendee and his daughter. Her compassion and consideration were truly remarkable.

Matt's presentation was fine and offered good guidance on the CPAP device and its use. I was not looking forward to attending a 1 1/2 hour group session, but I’m happy I went. The session was quite informative. After using my new CPAP device for a few nights, I have slept more soundly, waking up feeling refreshed and having more energy during the day. Also, I haven’t had the stuffy nose or congestion that I had with my previous CPAP, which I used since 2015.

Keith was awesome!

Keith was awesome! He discovered the first order was done wrong. The first driver went to the wrong place and had the wrong order. Keith fixed the order, delivered what I needed, explained everything, left me the booklet for my new concentrator, and gave me his number if I had questions. Keith was really nice and I'm very thankful. Thanks Keith!

Marcie was realy helpful in explaining how the CPAP

Marcie was realy helpful in explaining how the CPAP machine works and how it will improve my health. She answered all my questions, even the small ones. I've tried CPAPs before without success, but now I'm eager to give it another shot.

I contacted AeroCare to let them know my portable

I contacted AeroCare to let them know my portable oxygen concentrator wasn’t charging anymore. It was 5 years old, and they sent Jacob to replace it this afternoon! Great service from a company that truly cares!

Everytime I call Adapte they are friendly

Everytime I call Adapte they are friendly and supportive, always on time. I use the Centralia office and Stephanie is awesome, she's such a sweet lady, and I get everything I need right then and there.

My technician was exceptionally

My technician was exceptionally knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He provided valuable assistance and conducted himself in a thoroughly professional manner.

Deceptive and Inaccurate Billing

I think that Adapthealth provides billing services for their entire family of companies. I use Provider Plus for my CPAP supplies. Their staff have proven very knowledgeable for health care needs. However, the billings by their parent company AdaptHealth, are not transparent, but are deceptive and inaccurate. I found multiple over-billings that were repeated exactly from month to month. As stated at the bottom of their invoices, if you have insurance then all invoices are estimates. But the invoices fail to show any later adjustments based on actual insurance coverage, making it impossible to reconcile the insurance company’s Explanation of Benefits with AdaptHealth invoices. In fact, the corrections to all of their errors for six months were not made until January of the following year. After more than two months of conversations with the AdaptHealth billing office, I found that supervisors could not trace a January adjustment back to the source that created the error, or the need for the adjustment. To be fair, their charges (not the invoices) eventually matched with the insurance company’s Explanation of Benefits in January, after at least two months of my interactions with the billing office. Oh, I prepaid a significant amount and was told that their policy is that no statements would be sent because nothing was yet owed. It is very difficult to reconcile insurance against nothing at all. Will I have to wait until January 2026 to get another accurate balance? Remember, the invoices are all estimated, corrections are made in January, and there is no indication of any adjustments on the invoice, just an estimated total owed. If I terminate their services at mid-year will I receive an accurate accounting and refund of any errors before next January?

Do not place your trust in them!

Do not place your trust in them! I strongly advise researching their track record. They have faced numerous lawsuits related to fraudulent billing. My dealings with them over almost a year have been frustrating, as they persistently attempt to charge me for expenses covered by my insurance. Their assertion that the cost of the CPAP machine will "reset" with a change in insurance is ludicrous. It implies having to pay them all over again, as if previous payments didn't count. How is this not fraudulent? Most agents are unhelpful; perhaps 1 out of 10 is knowledgeable. Their attitudes are terrible, and they are often difficult to understand. A woman consistently calls me, threatening to send me to collections for a bill not even posted on my account. When I questioned her about it over the phone, she sounded confused. She then made a change and asked, "Do you see it now? So, how are you going to pay today?" without providing any explanation of insurance coverage or other details. She even claimed that the unposted invoice is past due for six months, but it was never posted. As a law-abiding citizen, this situation has caused an immense amount of stress, requiring me to sacrifice lunchtime at work to deal with them frequently. I don't mind paying my dues, but I won't allow them to scam me for costs I'm not responsible for. Imagine the impact on an elderly patient who struggles with navigating the internet or a smartphone. Terrible people! If your doctor works with them, request another company. Do not trust them, and don't give up; continue to fight and ask for details!

This company cannot be trusted, particularly in terms of billing practices that are misleading and lacking transparency. Their collection practices are deemed abusive, even when a bill hasn't reached its due date. The bills provided are incomplete, omitting essential insurance information. Additionally, they attempt to push individuals into the digital age by strongly encouraging automated credit card payments, potentially leading to loss of control and susceptibility to fraudulent practices. Senior citizens are advised to exercise caution and consider switching to another company promptly.

Bad Customer services

They don't communicate bill information. My insurance don't cover the services (they saw yes when I started) and nobody contact me to explain why. They have my phone number, email and communication by App and never contact to explain. They only send bill and charge to my credit card
