We booked through an online booking
We booked through an online booking agency via Trivago. The other agency, Aroma or something, went out of business six months before our holiday, but we only found out when we tried to check into our hotel. They told us the booking had been cancelled months earlier because the company didn't send the money we paid. We had to pay for our holiday again at a higher price. Our travel insurance company said, "not our problem," so we were stuck. After our holiday, we contacted Trivago and got a refund for what we paid to Aroma. It took some time because of this corona thing, but we understood. It was great that they honored the booking faulted by the other company. Also, the communication with Trivago was great. They answered our concerns within 12 hours, which is amazing since they are on the other side of the world. Well done Trivago and thank you...
