I've generally had a smooth

I've generally had a smooth ride with this pharmacy, but lately, things have been a bit rocky. They sent me the wrong dosage of my meds, and now I'm just stuck waiting. Tried reaching out, but it's like talking to a wall. They keep saying it'll be sorted in a few "business days," but those days are stretching into forever. I'm not usually one to complain, but this is frustrating, especially when you rely on your meds. It's like they’re ignoring the urgency of the situation. I just want my meds sorted out without having to jump through hoops or play the waiting game. Hoping they fix this soon and things go back to normal.

Joyous gave me support when I felt out of choices and didn’t know where to turn. Small dose ketamine made my heavy depression and anxiety more managable. Across 15 months, I met with many providers, used the portal tools, and also got help from the financial assistance option. There were small bumps along the way like late packages or call issues, but overall the journey was simple, positive, and gave me strength.

Overall, I had a mostly good experience with Joyous

Overall, I had a mostly good experience with Joyous, BUT I credit my results to both the medication and my own effort in doing the mental work to get better. This isn’t a program where you just take medication and get “fixed.” The medicine is just a tool to support your own healing process. For me, that meant a lot of self-thinking, journaling, art, and movement therapy along with the medication. I was able to work through a lot of old trauma and get past some big obstacles I’d faced all my life. After I saw progress, though, I felt stuck and the effects on my major depression outside of trauma didn’t last long. From what I read about Ketamine therapy, this seems normal. It’s not usually a permanent cure. The Joyous staff mostly just do your appointments and give the prescriptions. There’s no real therapy, and it’s very hands-off, so you need to be self-driven and disciplined to succeed. The patient portal has resources and a community forum, but again, it’s mostly self-led.

The journal promts were helpful and I liked getting weekly notes from the journaling part. Sadly, I had to stop ketamine because my pain doctor said he would shut off my morphine pump if I didn’t. That was a hard choise to make. I didn’t go very far with it but I really liked what it did for me. Regular depression pills give you fog and make you feel weird, but ketamine was the total opposite. Give it a year and it’ll probly be in every doctor’s office and won’t feel so scary.

This company is a complete and total nuisance

I started the therapy I believe in January was canceled by February by them and now it's the end of May and every month I've been on the phone with my bank trying to dispute the transaction that they keep taking out of my bank account. I strongly recommend that you do not interact with this company nothing but a problem

It’s a basic but effective kind of therapy that helps you connect with and deal with, even remove, deep-rooted problems that seemed impossible to fix. It’s a strong but safe medication-supported method that you can gain a lot from, just like I did!

Ketamine helped me begin to release some parts of my life. I couldn’t get fully relaxed enough to reach the state I needed. Both my mind and body relaxed deeply as I took my troche and rested for an hour while listening to calm music. Life felt very stressful and chaotic, but ketamine gave me a chance to step back and sort through everything for a bit.

Ketamine therapy helped me dig deeper into my problems, face painful memories more calmly, and handle moderate-severe depression. Horrible customer service

I would have to say that they have the worst customer service. They make it almost impossible to cancel their membership and charge you an extra month prior or after to make the most money off of you. Their business ethics is very questionable and I highly recommend trying another service like mindbloom instead.

I came in feeling uncertain, but now I’m leaving with a clearer understanding of my mind. The medicine and guidance have provided me with some great tools to use going forward. I feel like I can now calm myself with what I’ve learned. I’m planning to stay focused on the present moment as much as possible.

I had cptsd, major depressive disorder

I had cptsd, major depressive disorder, adhd, and insomnia for a long time. Each of these problems has gotten better. The anxiety and constant alertness from cptsd are no longer there, and my adhd is much easier to handle. My depression is less too, and might go away if it wasn’t for some health concerns. Before the program, I barely slept more than 3 hours each night. If I woke up, I could never fall back asleep, sometimes going days without rest. Now, I sleep through the night. If I need to wake up for something, I fall back asleep right away. I also have chronic pain, but the program has made it easier to manage. I still feel a bit depressed but that’s mainly because of health worries coming up. However, Joyous is helping me feel more hopeful and less stressed about it. I’m really glad I have the program to help me with my health issues ahead. Without it, my depression, anxiety, and sleep problems would probably make things worse. Thanks Joyous.

Joyous has been really helpful for my son (19). It usually takes about a week or two to get the dose right, but just be patient, and with some faith, calm and happiness will start to take over the stress, anger, fear, and anxiety.

The Joyous team has been really nice. There have been some small issues as the community has gotten bigger (tech problems) but whenever I’ve contacted them, they’ve gotten back to me in good time. The Joyous Nurses have been great at responding to my daily check-ins and even my text messages. I’m still working through my depression. The ketamine has helped with the guided healing sessions.
