I might have judged this app too soon before. I’m back to update my review and to say it’s actually pretty good. The reason I gave a hasty review earlier is that the app asked me to leave a review when I was only about 30 minutes into it. In my view, a person should use an app more before reviewing. So I changed my target language to Español and I’m happier with learning it. The conversations make more sense now. And the other benefits of this app are still true from what I mentioned before: the native speakers sound very good, the app gives you plenty of chances to practice, and I love that it teaches both conversations and vocabulary words. Now that I’m learning Spanish I saw there really is a lot of material to learn so I finally decided to subscribe. Also, the Spanish course has many more instructional videos, and it’s good to really take your time in learning. When you start a new unit and it teaches you a new conversation, you can take your time and press each word of the sentences you are asked to repeat. When you do this, it sounds out the word for you and even highlights the letters you are hearing. If you do this several times, your pronunciation will improve. I took high school Spanish for years and I already sound much better than I ever did then. Thanks for making such a great app, Faloü!

Програма дуже хороша. Проте є декілька пропозицій. 1. Потрібно виправити третє речення, коли обираєш українську мову в додатку і хочеш вивчати англійську - там пропонується вказати свій рівень. Третє речення було перекладено неправильно, зокрема, закінчення.

The software employs an unusual approach. It’s like being in a foreign land where there's just one language you need to learn. Of course, there are hints, but the feeling of being fully immersed comes from having to speak in a different language constantly.

Цей додаток дуже добрий для вивчення мов, він робе навчання простішим. Уроки зрозумілі та корисні, а з підпискою відкривається багато різного матеріалу, що робить заняття цікавіми та не нудними.

Чудовий інтерфейс та відмінна організація подачі матеріалу. Але знімаю одну зірочку, оскільки відсутній словник для повторення вивчених слів.

Falou helped me a lot in my personal and job life cause I got to make more money and this way get better jobs.

For Russian, it's pretty decent. I stopped using Duolingo for Russian since it was confusing and poorly written. This one has more order and use. Of course, nothing beats proper classes, tutoring, and speaking practice, but I’m liking falou better so far. I haven’t seen any grammar explanations yet, but Duolingo's Russian grammar lessons were so bad they might as well not have included them. But like I said, these apps should only be extra tools, not the main thing.

This app for learning languages is quite good and up-to-date. I tried several other popular apps, and this one is better. However, the amount of ads really ruins the free experience.

The company is pretty nice and I enjoy it, but I wish there's a choice to turn on or off the English translations. I wanna think in the language, not always translate every word or sentence. Having the option to switch translations on or off can improve learning, not just memorizing.

Overall a cool app. But in the free version it is impossible to study. The limit increases every day and it turns out that you complete everything in 1 task. Yes, I understand that the application was created to make money from it. Well, they could have at least done it a little more time, even with advertising. I deleted it because I would like to see what’s next, but at this rate you won’t see anything further

Thought I'd give this app a shot to practice my Japanese. Good idea, but it's tough to use. Two big problems: 1. Even if you say it perfectly, it still marks some words as wrong. I tried with Japanese speaker audio. 2. Obvious mistakes. Audio and text don't match. In my opinion, not worth the money.

Dishonest business located in China. The products are cheap copies from China. Trying to return anything is hopeless. Don’t spend your cash here and find a better place.
