    I've been using Instacart for

    I've been using Instacart for a couple of years now, but it's just been getting worse and worse. This last delivery was the final straw. They messed up my order again—missing items, wrong stuff, and even expired products. It's like they don't even check what they're sending out. And trying to get a refund? Forget it. I've been out over $100 because of their mistakes, and customer service hasn't been any help at all. It's been one frustrating experience after another, and honestly, I've had enough. I'm done with Instacart. I can't keep dealing with this level of service. Time to find another way to get my groceries.

    I went to this store hoping to find a specific item, but the experience was more frustrating than I'd expected. The staff seemed a bit lost and not very knowledgeable about their own inventory. I asked for something, and instead of checking properly, they just grabbed a random substitute. It was annoying because when I called the store later, they told me the item was definitely in stock the whole time. I felt like the staff were just not interested in helping out.     I went through a nightmare trying to get help with my account. It was like talking to a brick wall—no one cared. I had some money in there, and poof, it vanished! The app said it was transferred, but where? To whom? Nobody would tell me anything, just kept saying to contact my bank. Funny thing is, I don't even have a bank linked up! They didn't bother to investigate, just left me hanging. Tried reaching out multiple times but got the same cold shoulder. It's like they swiped my cash and shrugged, leaving me totally helpless.     So, I had a horrible experience with this service. I placed an order with high hopes, but it turned into a nightmare. The shopper managed to mess up everything - wrong items, missing items, duplicates, and they were hours late. To top it off, they left my bags outside unattended. I wasted hours trying to get this sorted, but no luck. Customer service promised a full refund, but then changed their tune. They refunded a fraction, and I won't see that money for days. I spent $60, and they charged $107. It’s frustrating and feels like they just don’t value my time or money. Definitely not using this service again.

    We were so excited for a special date night at home after ages. We chose a lovely restaurant and ordered through Uber Eats. Everything seemed fine until our food ended up at the wrong address. Tried fixing it on the app, but no luck. Ended up having to cancel the order and got hit with a $30 fee. Contacted customer service, got bounced from Instacart to Uber Eats, and then our account was blocked! No food, lost money, and a ruined evening. We were so looking forward to this night. Really hope they improve their service and refund us for the meal we never got. Just wanted a nice, easy night together.

    I thought I'd give Instacart a try, thinking it'd make life easier. But, boy, was I wrong. I signed up for what I thought was a monthly subscription, only to find out they'd charged me for a whole year. When my order arrived, the delivery guy just dumped it on the doorstep without even bothering to knock or ring the bell. I tried reaching out to their customer service, first by phone. After waiting over half an hour with no luck, I switched to the chat option. Spent another 20 minutes there, only to be told they couldn’t do anything. It's frustrating when you expect convenience and get the opposite.

    I tried Instacart for the first time, and it was a disaster. Prices were way higher than in-store, and on top of that, they add service fees and expect you to tip the shopper. When my order arrived, several items were missing. I had to call customer service myself to request a refund, and they only offered account credit. The shopper didn’t even bother to inform me about the unavailable items. The whole experience was really disappointing. I feel like I wasted my money and time. Not planning to use Instacart again after this, it was just a bad experience overall. If only I could return the items.

    Oh boy, what a mess! Ordered my groceries early Monday morning, around 9:30, expecting them by lunchtime. It's now Tuesday, almost noon, and still no food. They promised delivery between 10:55 and 12:00 yesterday, but nada. They threw a measly $5 credit my way, like that would make up for the hassle. Tried reaching out to customer service, but no luck with talking to a manager. They were useless, kept saying I was within some ever-changing delivery window. This whole experience is just embarrassing. Won't be using this service again and definitely gonna warn others to stay away. What a disaster!

    I’ve been noticing some weird stuff with Instacart and their billing. It’s not the first time they’ve messed with my account, but this time it really got to me. I made a purchase on September 2nd, and they took the money, fine. But then they went and charged me again on the 4th! Called their customer service, and the guy tried telling me it’s just for my purchase. I mean, come on, I already paid! It’s just so frustrating. They keep pulling and putting money back like it’s some game. Even if they give the money back, I’m done. It’s just too sketchy for my liking. Time to find another service!

    I ordered a hot sub from Publix through Instacart, and it was a disaster. The shopper took forever, over an hour, because he was juggling multiple orders. My sub just sat there in the cart. I texted him, reminding him it was hot and needed to be fresh. By the time he responded, he was already checking out and acted like I was the problem. I asked for it to be remade but got ignored. Tried to get a refund, even appealed, but no luck. Chatted and emailed customer service, but nothing. Didn't even eat the sub; it tasted off and seemed unsafe. Instacart didn’t care at all. I’m done with them.

    I ordered groceries and they gave me a delivery time, but no one had even started shopping for my order 1.5 hours later. Tried reaching customer service, and after a long wait, they gave me a new time, 3 hours later. I accepted, but then an hour into that wait, I got a message saying my order would come tomorrow instead. They offered me a $5 credit for next time, but that didn't help since I needed the food to cook for a special needs home. They really need to ensure someone has picked up and started shopping your order before giving a delivery time, or improve their hiring standards.

    You wouldn’t believe the hassle Instacart’s been giving me lately. Been ordering from them weekly for months, no issues. But the last two days? Total nightmare. Yesterday, they declined my perfectly good credit card. Today, they canceled my order out of nowhere, citing "suspicious activity." Seriously? Then they had the nerve to email me asking for a copy of my driver’s license. Like I'm gonna trust them with that, especially when they’re rumored to keep customer receipts and sell info to data brokers. I was so fed up, I just closed my account. Not dealing with that nonsense anymore.

    I've used InstaCart several times now, and honestly, it's been pretty rough. Most of the time, the shoppers replace items I specifically said not to. I've had stuff go missing, and getting those items sorted out was a nightmare. I finally just gave up on trying to fix it. I gave them another shot on January 11th, hoping it would be different. But it was the worst experience yet. I got charged twice for the same order and nobody's helped me get my money back. It feels really unfair and shady. I'm done with InstaCart, and you can bet my family and friends will hear all about this mess.

    I tried ordering online and the delivery address just wouldn't stick. I updated it a few times, thought it was sorted, but then got a notice saying my delivery was canceled because of the wrong address. Frustrating, right? On top of that, they hit me with a $15 fee for canceling my order. It didn't seem fair since the glitch was on their end. I mean, I was all set to enjoy my purchase, but now I’m out of pocket with nothing to show for it. It's a bummer when tech issues get in the way of a simple order. I hope they fix this glitch soon so no one else has to deal with this hassle.

    I gotta tell you about the most bizarre commercial I saw during the Oilers game. You know, I really appreciate when companies support my favorite teams, but this ad was something else. It was all about cantaloupes, of all things! Who thought that was a good idea? I mean, I get trying to be different, but this was just plain weird.     I can't believe the terrible service I got. Bought a pack of chicken breasts and they charged me $21 when the price was actually less. I went to customer service to show them the actual price in the store, but they just wouldn't listen. They kept saying it was a discount, but I know it wasn't. To make things worse, they added taxes on the chicken, which shouldn't be taxed in Ontario. I tried explaining this to them, but they refused to admit any mistake. Frustrating and disappointing. Definitely not shopping here again. It's like they don't care about their customers at all.

    Save yourself the trouble and find another service

    I tried out this Instacart app hoping it would make my grocery shopping easier, but boy was I wrong. First off, the customer support is a nightmare. They’re all based in India and it’s super hard to communicate with them in English. Every time I had an issue, they couldn’t fix it. The management of the app is just as bad. I spent two weeks trying to get help from them, but no one ever got back to me. It was so frustrating. I feel like I just wasted my time. Definitely don’t bother with this app, it’s not worth the headache. Save yourself the trouble and find another service.

    I usually don't have any issues with Instacart's delivery and service. But recently, I ordered water from Sam's Club. The price was $4.85 for 40 bottles, but Instacart charged me over $8. I ordered three cartons, so it really added up. Same thing happened with the potatoes, they cost way more than if I bought them directly from Sam's. The service itself was smooth, and I was happy with that, but when I saw the prices, I felt a bit ripped off. Things are expensive enough as it is. I get that there's a fee for the convenience, but nearly double the price seems excessive.

    I had the worst experience with this app's customer service. I got an order with spoiled meat and melted ice cream. When I reported it, they asked for pictures, which I sent. They said they'd escalate the issue but didn't contact me for a week. Then, they asked for more pictures. By then, I'd already thrown out the bad food. They said, "Sorry, nothing we can do!" I demanded a refund, but after another few days, they refused. No options to return the items or even a receipt to take it back. Just "sorry, pay for rotten food!" I’ll never use their service again. BEWARE!!!
